Honesty and Profanity
Swear like a sailor and be as honest as Captain Hook! Researchers have shed light on a surprising correlation. A behavioural analysis shows, that profanity is positively associated with both individual honesty and societal integrity. Study 1 exposed a link between profanity use and honesty on a personal level.
